We told you
not to scan it.

Now you're thinking about your parents. At a bull roast. We're sorry. Sort of.

You're the one everybody calls.

Neighbors, cousins, the guy down the street. When something goes wrong, your phone rings. So here's the question nobody asks you:

Who do you call when it's your mom? Or your dad, or the aunt who raised you. When they can't quite manage at home anymore, and you're on shift.

While you're there Thursday, look for these

  1. 1The fridge is empty, or full of things that expired months ago.
  2. 2Mail stacking up. Bills they "were going to get to."
  3. 3Same sweater three days running.
  4. 4A fall or a bruise they "didn't want to worry you about."
  5. 5Pill bottles that are too full, or too empty.
  6. 6You leave and you're the one who's worried.

Agatha Home Health sends caregivers into the home, from a few hours a week to live-in care around the clock. Our nurse comes out first, listens, and tells the whole family what she sees. Nobody signs anything that night.
